Job Description Power-Flo Technologies Moonachie is seeking a DRIVER to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for operating a sprinter van, small box truck, and rack truck. Full-Time. Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Benefits: • Health, Dental and Vision benefits, • PTO Program, • Paid Holidays, • EAP Warehouse Associate and Driver Key Responsibilities : • Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, organizing etc., • Maintain a clean Driver's License, • Pull and stage orders for shipment, • Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders, • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles (Van, small box truck, rack truck), • Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day, • Obey all traffic laws and parking regulations Warehouse Associate and Driver Requirements : • Box Truck, Sprinter Van, or flatbed truck experience required. No CDL required., • Current, valid driver’s license (7 years clean driving record) to operate company vehicles, • Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification, • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds, • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies, • Ability to work well independently, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn, • Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills, • Excellent organizational and time management skills, • Computer savvy, • Forklift experience a plus Physical Requirements • Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours, • Ability to lift 50 pounds, • Ability to work on elevated platforms, • Ability to climb ladders, • This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching, • You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions We are an equal opportunity employer. Job Description To oversee and manage all aspects of receiving materials, warehouse storage, and issuing to production. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receive in house or at the warehouse, all incoming bulk flour, ingredients, packaging, bakery supplies and equipment. Maintain GMP and HACCP standards by checking and or rejecting loads (if necessary) based on the following: • · Condition of the carriers’ truck, • · Condition of actual incoming load., • · Material meets company specification and the quantity matches on the invoice and P.O., • · Truck inspections to be entered into Safety Chain Enter all transactions into PRIMS. Take an accurate inventory of all ingredients and wrapping materials on a weekly basis. Investigate inventory variances to determine root cause. Advise and implement corrective actions Monitor par levels and advise if adjustments need to be made. Ensure all trucks are loaded properly with the proper count and prepare bill of lading or receipt, which will be signed off by the driver. Requisition wrapping materials and ingredients on a daily basis in accordance with the production order. Schedule and confirm delivery appointments. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: · Maintain housekeeping of all storage areas and warehouse. · Assist in special projects when use of the Forklift is essential. · Review packaging and ingredient requirements and provide Purchase Requisitions to Purchasing · Comply with company GMP policies and guidelines · Other duties assigned by Management. REQUIREMENTS: · Valid Drivers License · Forklift Operation · Must be able to stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
