Job Title - Technical Project Manager – Capital Markets (Post-Trade) Location – New jersey – Hybrid onsite 3 days a week Hire Type – Fulltime Technical Project Manager – Capital Markets (Post-Trade Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong Capital Markets Post-Trade domain expertise to lead and deliver strategic technology initiatives across trade processing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting platforms. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, developers, QA teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution and operational excellence Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management Lead end-to-end delivery of post-trade technology projects Define project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource plans Manage Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies Track project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders Capital Markets Post-Trade Domain Management • Work closely with Operations, Middle Office, and Back Office teams, • Drive initiatives involving, • Trade Capture and Validation, • Trade Matching and Confirmation Clearing and Settlement, • Reconciliation, • Corporate Actions, • Securities Lending, • Collateral Management, • Regulatory Reporting Cash and Position Management, • Ensure compliance with market regulations and operational controls Technical Leadership • Coordinate with solution architects and engineering teams to design scalable solutions, • Manage system integrations across trading, risk, settlement, and reporting platforms, • Oversee application development, testing, deployment, and production releases, • Support cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives, • Ensure adherence to SDLC, DevOps, and release management processes Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary liaison between business users and technology teams, • Gather and translate business requirements into technical deliverables, • Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and governance meetings, • Manage relationships with vendors, exchanges, custodians, and clearing houses Governance & Risk Management • Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and audit requirements, • .Monitor project financials and resource utilization, • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and project success metrics, • Drive issue resolution and escalation management Required Skills & Experience Capital Markets Knowledge Strong understanding of: Equities Fixed Income Derivatives (Futures, Options, Swaps) FX MarketsTrade Lifecycle Clearing & Settlement Processes, Custody Services Regulatory Reporting Technical Skills • Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project)SQL and Data Analysis API and Integration technologies Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)DevOps and CI/CD concepts Microservices Architecture Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions Methodologies, • Agile / ScrumWaterfallSAFe (preferred) ITIL (preferred), • Leadership Skills, • Stakeholder Management, • Vendor Management, • Budget Management, • Risk & Issue Management, • Team Leadership, • Executive Communication Preferred Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field. 8–15+ years of IT experience, • 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience in Capital Market, • Experience with post-trade platforms such as: DTCC processes SWIFT messaging, Settlement systems Custody platforms Reconciliation tools PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe certifications preferred.
