Job DescriptionDescription: Job Responsibilities: • Studies specifications, blueprints, or damaged tools and machine parts to determine nature and dimension of parts to be fabricated., • Sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, drill presses, band saws, and other powered metal-working tools to machine parts to specified dimensions., • Performs routine or preventive maintenance and repair, lubrication and cleaning of machine tools, equipment, and mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems., • Designs and constructs jugs and special tools to facilitate the machining, assembly, or disassembly of parts and assemblies., • Performs related work assigned tasks., • Keep work areas neat and clean in an orderly manner, • Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.Requirements:, • High School education or equivalency minimum, • Technical School Associates Degree or equivalent preferred, • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems a plus, • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on a “hands on” approach., • Able to read blueprints, • Knowledge of Pro Cam and Master Cam software – a plus, • Ability to read measuring instruments; ex. Veneers, micrometers, depth/height gauges, • Math Skills ex. Ruler, Fractions and Decimals, • Understanding Milling and Jig Grinding, • Plastics Injection Blow Molding experience preferred., • Previous Machine operation/mechanical knowledge in manufacturing environment helpful, • Knowledge of Jomar and Uniloy machines a plus, • Strong and persistent drive to deliver positive results., • Strong communication skills
