Job Description Hilton Garden Inn-Wayne, 15 Nevins Road, Wayne, NJ 07470 We are currently looking for Maintenance Assistant to join our Team! You will find our Hilton Garden Inn with 125 guest rooms and suites, just off Hamburg Turnpike. We are 25 miles from Manhattan so many guests come and stay for a quiet place while visiting New York City. Ice Vault Arena is a short walk away, and shopping and dining is within five-minutes. We have a bus stop a half-mile away. Our hotel has the Garden Grille and Bar, that serves breakfast and dinner to our guests. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for the upkeep of the hotel property, assisting the Chief Engineer. This is a Part-Time Opportunity - typically working 3 shifts per week - shifts will vary. Role: • Major duties include basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing, electrical work, pool operations, preventative maintenance, and indoor and outdoor grounds upkeep., • Maintains all fixtures and equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule and records such maintenance in log books as required by BLA and hotel brand., • Maintains and services pool and spa areas including testing and recording as stated by the state and local regulations. Review daily club sales performance and individual employee performance statistics with the Fitness Manager, Vice President and team members to identify issues and clarify behaviors needed to achieve club sales goals. Administer company policies as they relate to the sales process. Set monthly, weekly and daily goals and objectives aligned with Companys expectations. Conduct monthly and weekly meetings with the Fitness Manager to review performance and operations. Handle member service matters including club tours, explanation of Recovery Corner services, and member sign ups, agreements and appointments. Mediate and resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, elevating issues when appropriate. Perform and manage the completion of all administrative and housekeeping duties within the Recovery Corner (as outlined in daily and weekly checklists). Conducts daily facility walkthroughs and alert the Operations team of repairs and maintenance needs. Supervise coach sales activities, agreements and daily paperwork. Comply with operational procedures in the Recovery Corner and follow-up with compliance checks through the monitoring of club systems and employee performance. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: The Recovery Corner Manager will report directly to the Fitness Manager and/or General Manager. Communicate and enforce all Policy and Procedures with the Fitness & Recovery Corner Team. Duties require interaction with all club management, employees and club members. Job DescriptionThe Fitness Coach is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience and delivering great member service and Private Training. Coaches are responsible for the successful attainment of revenue goals pertaining to Private Training and Supplements. This position requires a minimum of one day on the weekend. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Execution on Key Metrics • Sell and conduct private and small group training with members., • Assist members and encourage member involvement in private training., • Ensure accurate administration of client programs (dotFIT, supplements, measurement tracking, workouts, etc)., • Arrive on time, prepared and attentive for training appointments., • Assist in revenue generating activities (complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, workshops)., • Achieve personal monthly revenue objectives as set forth by the company in sessions, Personal Training and supplement sales., • Conduct guest tours, and complete sales when needed through the Turn-Over process., • Focus on changing lives through Service, Science and Sales., • Be a brand ambassador of UFC Gym and its Train Different philosophy., • Bring T.R.A.I.N (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble) to life., • Conduct safe and effective private training sessions., • Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces., • Follow all policies and procedures regarding payment transactions., • Follow all guidelines in the UFC Gym Employee Handbook., • Document daily workouts for liability (adherence to national certification standards)., • Be knowledgeable of club facility and services., • Adhere to the agreed upon schedule set forth by the Fitness Manager., • Daily 1-1 Check-in Meeting with Fitness Manager and Bi-Monthly meetings., • Adhere to meal and rest break periods and must clock in and out for all shift times. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: The Fitness Coach reports to the Fitness Manager. This position may interact with all levels of management and staff within Corporate and Field offices, in the clubs, and within the Fitness team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • In depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design., • Must be able to adjust and operate all Fitness Equipment., • Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude., • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions., • Possess a strong customer service focus., • Respond professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff., • Strong organizational and time management skills. Understands basic record keeping practices., • Must be computer proficient with basic skills in Word and Excel., • Ability to work, setup and execute successful weekends. Minimum Certifications/Educational Level: • Current dotFIT certification (or in progress.), • Current CPR/AED certification (or in progress.), • Certification from organization recognized by UFC Gym (or in progress.), • High school diploma or general education degree (GED.), • 4-year Degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym (preferred.), • Current USA Wrestling Copper Certified (for wrestling coaches.) Minimum Experience: • 1 year of related experience (preferred) Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day., • Must be able to regularly lift heavy weights, squat, bend, reach, and spot., • Must be able to frequently lift and /or moves up to 45+ pounds.
