Job DescriptionSalary: $28- $30 per hour Stallant Health & Wellness is inviting applications for a Medical Assistant to join our newly opened Rural Health Clinic in Highland, CA. This role is essential in supporting both our patients and providers by ensuring smooth clinical operations, delivering compassionate care, and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment. We are seeking a Medical Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, and who shares our vision that how care is delivered matters just as much as the care itself. Duties: • Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures., • Record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information in the EHR., • Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures., • Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed., • Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens for testing., • Prepare and process lab samples, and perform basic lab tests as instructed., • Manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care., • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment cleanliness and readiness., • Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication., • Follow all clinic policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations., • Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program., • Current MA certification or eligibility to obtain certification preferred., • Phlebotomy experience or certification preferred., • BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained upon hire., • Prior clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting is preferred., • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills., • Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered attitude.
