Job Description ABOUT THIS ROLE We are seeking a Property Caretaker and Management Supervisor to become a part of our team. Structured onboarding with transition support from outgoing management. We will provide on the job training for the management software which we utilize, AppFolio. You will perform necessary work to keep our three properties in good condition while also tending regularly to tenant requests and needs which is facilitated through a 3rd Party Management and Request System. RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervise work of repair and maintenance personnel, • Minor repair and maintenance work; oversight of 3rd party repair and maintenance on property, • Able to prepare weekly draft budget or repair plans, based on a rough idea of known needs, • Prepare a monthly forecast for repair, maintenance and budget, • Prepare semi-annual forecast for repair, maintenance and budget, • Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion, • Respond timely to tenant requests where applicable, • Maintain a clean and safe workspace and property setting, • Perform other duties as assigned, • Report directly to Corporate, • Meet regularly with Corporate Executive to discuss weekly and monthly maintenance and repair needs, tenant status, etc. QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience in property maintenance or other related fields. Patience to transition into role and routine over series of months., • Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment, • College Degree, but equivalent work experience in property management, facilities, or related field accepted in lieu of degree, • Deadline and detail-oriented, • Ability to handle regular (close) travel among 3 properties, • Competence in Microsoft Office, • Willing to learn—we'll train the right person on our systems and processes WHAT WE OFFER • $58,000 to $65,000 base salary depending on experience, • Performance bonus annually, • Health insurance reimbursement after 12 months, • Paid time off ( PTO + sick time Year 1), • Mileage reimbursement for property travel, • Growing portfolio with advancement opportunity TO APPLY Submit your resume.
