Job Description Host/Hostess – Grand Opening Team Be part of something special! Kaluz Restaurant is opening in Pembroke Pines this September, and we’re building a welcoming, polished team to set the standard for guest experience from day one. At Kaluz, we take pride in delivering more than just a meal, we create memorable moments. As a Hostess, you’ll be the first and last impression for our guests, setting the tone for a seamless, elevated dining experience. What You’ll Do Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Warmly greet every guest with a smile and genuine “Welcome to Kaluz” as you open the door or welcome them in., • Provide accurate wait times and manage the waitlist., • Take and manage reservations within established guidelines for time, party size, and availability., • Escort guests to their assigned tables, patio, bar, or lounge, presenting menus and introducing their server (when possible)., • Thank and bid farewell to departing guests, holding the door as available., • Coordinate with servers on special requests or occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)., • Keep the lobby and reception area clean, organized, and inviting., • Provide extra care and attention to guests with specific needs (wheelchairs, young children, elderly, etc.)., • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, assisting with guest inquiries., • Perform regular restroom checks to ensure cleanliness and restock as needed., • Assist service team with light bussing, sweeping, and maintaining a clean dining room. ✨ Be part of an exciting grand opening ✨ Work with a professional and supportive team ✨ Flexible scheduling options ✨ Opportunities for growth and advancement ✨ Benefits available for full-time employees Who You Are We’re looking for someone who: • We’re looking for someone who:, • Loves creating exceptional guest experiences, • Is friendly, outgoing, and polished under pressure, • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, • Has great communication and organizational skills
