New Business US Key Account Manager Food Retail Job Description Tempo is seeking a innovative Key Account Manager to join our Team. The candidate will be responsible for growing our new account relationships from the scratch. The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience with Corporate contacts from major retailers, such as Walmart, Target, DG, Dollar Tree, Costco, CVS, Walgreens etc.. The candidate should have an excellent track record for successfully introducing, acquiring and managing multiple new key accounts. In that role Tempo can offer Private Label (preferably) and branded opportunities. Responsibilities • Build new account relationships with top retail accounts (Walmart, Target, DG, Dollar Tree, Costco, CVS, Walgreens, HEB, KROGER (any new customer is welcome) etc.), • Achieve sales targets within the assigned time line, • Think like an owner and manage the assigned territory and P&L, • Monitors competitor activity in each account and built according strategies, • Help to achieve Company strategic objectives, including, achieving budgeted sales, and performing administrative duties, for example, timely submission of customer tenders, • Liaise with suppliers to collect detailed product information, including specifications, images, and samples - new suppliers are also welcome, • Completion of detailed sales documents, including pricing forms Job Requirements • +5 years’ experience in Key Account sales position with corporate contacts, • Industry contacts (buyers) from retailers such as: Walmart, Target, Supermarkets and Grocery stores, DIY Stores are mandatory, • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal (English), • Must be an extremely organized self-starter with the ability to get the job done on time and with little supervision, • Must be able to proactively prioritize and multi-task, • Travel to national and international trade shows all over the world Compensation • Negotiable, dependent on experience, • Employee Benefits Package: Health Insurance, Holidays and Vacations Benefits, • Full-time We only consider applicants who have a valid work and residence permit in the USA.
