Job DescriptionOur long tenured client, a leader in the NJ industrial real estate space, is searching for a Pre-Construction Estimator. Key responsibilities include: • Managing multiple construction projects at different stages of design/build., • Coordinating infrastructure and site utilities., • Coordinating meetings with owners, designers, consultants and contractors., • Developing estimates and schedules., • Coordinating the activity of outside architects and engineers., • Participating in design-build project planning., • Managing construction and closeout., • Preparing conceptual sketches using CAD., • Preparing change orders., • Ensuring all activities adhere to all relevant regulations. YOU might be the RIGHT person if YOU have:, • 3-5 years construction experience on commercial buildings including project management, construction, civil engineering, which must include construction inspection work and supervision of related projects., • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Engineering or Architecture or Construction Management or Project Management, • PC skills including AutoCAD/Revit, Photoshop/Illustrator, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, • Must be able to travel to job site locations in NJ/PA, • General building construction experience from footings through MEP, all aspects of site work, demolition and retrofitting., • Experience with parking lots, paving, road widening, sidewalks and curbing workOur client offers:, • A base salary between $65,000 and $90,000, • Bonus eligibility, • Benefits - Medical/Dental/Vision, FSA/HSA Plans, Life Insurance, AD&D, and Short-Term Disability., • 401(k) w/employer match, Pension, and Profit-Sharing components.
