Yes, with acute care setting, • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:, • This position will be providing X-ray services between Mary Bridge and Tacoma General - routinely imaging pediatric and adult patients, • Inpatient, Outpatient Fluoroscopy, ED, trauma, inpatient units NICU, OR, • Neonates-Geriatrics, • X-Ray: Fluoroscopy Procedures (inpatient and outpatient neonates, pediatric, adult, geriatrics), OR (cross tables spine, cervical ortho), all body parts (chest, abdominal, hand, joint, extremity, spine), • Must be familiar with neonates, pediatrics, ICU patients, • Patient Ratios:, • 1:1, • Required License, National Certification, Certs:, • BLS, • ARRT or RCIS, • WA Rad Tech License, • Skills required:, • Must be a strong candidate, will be working independently amongst other staff, • X-Ray: General X-ray (plain film, abdomen, pelvis), fluoroscopy, OR & Trauma experience, • Portable imaging (required), Knowledgeable on C-arms, • Will transport ED patients to and from X-Ray, • Protocols Manuals available in the department, • EPIC experience required, • Support within the Department:, • RT 24/7, • Hospitalist 24/7, • Intensivist 24/7, • Technology/Equipment:, • EMR: EPIC – required, • Radiant is the subset of EPIC used, • McKesson PACS (strongly preferred), • Digital Siemens x-ray (strongly preferred), • Shimadzu portable x-ray (preferred), • OEC C-arms (required), • Floating: If yes, where?, • Yes, will float into all the areas of the department listed below as well as to Mary Bridge, • Orientation (facility and unit):, • Hospital orientation, • 4-5 days of orientation, • Orientation to Fluoroscopy with RA, OR, ED, Float role (focus on inpatient portables), • 8-10H shifts training in the areas based on needs for that day, • Complete a compliance check off sheet, • Scheduling:, • Weekend rotation: Based on needs of the department, • 13 +-week schedule, receive on arrival in department, • RTO: Radiology Manager, • On-Call:, • 24 hrs of weekend call per month: may be split into 2x12s if preferred., • Shift: Sat & Sun 0600 – 0600 & Mon – Fri 1700-0600, • Response Time: 30 minutes (must be onsite within 30 mins), • Sleep room-must reserve ahead of time (earlier the better), • Holiday Expectations: working if it lands on the day you are assigned to work, • Other notes:, • Scrub Color: Any color, no camo, denim, hoodies * Hospital provides OR scrubs*, • Wear closed toe shoes, • Working in the OR-will have to change into hospital provided OR scrubs, • Parking: Free in designated areas
