Litigation Attorney Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in complex civil litigation, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a proven ability to manage cases independently from inception through trial or resolution. This role requires a dedicated professional with a passion for advocacy and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities • Case Management: Independently manage a diverse caseload, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met., • Pleadings and Motions: Draft, review, and file various legal documents, including complaints, answers, counterclaims, and complex motions (e.g., motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss)., • Discovery: Oversee and manage all phases of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission., • Depositions: Prepare for and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses., • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal memoranda, briefs, and internal analysis on challenging issues of law., • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court for hearings, conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and trials., • Client Communication: Maintain regular and effective communication with clients, providing clear, strategic advice and updating them on case progress., • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school., • Bar Admission: Must be an active member in good standing of the State Bar of [Specify State].
