About the Job Pursuit seeks to hire a Loan Servicing Manager in our Latham office. The Loan Servicing Manager is responsible for overseeing the policies and processes for the Servicing and Loan Modifications departments. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance in servicing the commercial loan portfolio including SBA loans, reviewing and auditing loan materials and documentation. Responsibilities also include reporting analysis, leading project level reviews, optimizing standards, identifying areas of improvement, and training staff members. What You’ll Do: · Manage day-to-day portfolio activities including tracking of insurance, financial statements, UCC’s, real estate taxes and other requirements related to commercial loan portfolio servicing. · Prepare post-closing modifications as needed. · Analyze and interpret data from various databases, including collecting, cleaning, and evaluating data to extract meaningful insights, identify trends and areas of concern, and support informed decision-making. · Communicate with external legal counsel to review documents and resolve any loan issues. · Perform loan compliance and audit review of final closing documentation package. · Submittal of SBA Forms to appropriate service vendors and proper reporting of third-party fees charged in connection with SBA loan applications. · Lead and manage a team including fostering an inclusive, trusting environment while driving high-performance results. Key skills include effective communication (active listening, feedback), strategic delegation, conflict resolution, and goal setting to motivate and align team members with organizational objectives. · Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager. What You’ll Bring: · Bachelor’s degree required. · 1-2 years of management experience. · 1-2 years of SBA experience, preferred. · Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a Team. · Advanced knowledge of Excel required. · Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and databases. · Attention to detail. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Customer service focus. · Highly organized and able to balance various projects and responsibilities at once, in a fast-paced environment.
