Job Description Job Title: Systems Engineer Job Category: Exempt Location: Hybrid (Larkin) Department: Enterprise Technologies Company URL: About the Role We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for the administration and optimization of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, VMware virtualized environments, Microsoft SQL and Cisco-based network infrastructure. Responsibilities • Microsoft 365, • Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra), • Manage MFA, conditional access, licensing, and security policies, • Troubleshoot collaboration, Enterprise Applications and authentication issues, • Azure Cloud Services, • Deploy and manage Azure resources including VMs, networking, container apps and storage containers, • Support hybrid environments and cloud migrations, • Virtualization & Servers, • Manage Microsoft Active Directory deployment and group policies, • Administer VMware and Azure hosted VMs, • Perform patching, monitoring, and lifecycle management, • Microsoft SQL, • Administer and support SQL databases that underpin enterprise applications, • Working knowledge of SQL database technology, • Networking, • Configure and support networking technologies (switches, routers, wireless, and firewalls), • Manage VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching Skills and Expertise • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, • 7+ years experience in systems engineering, including cloud infrastructure, • Strong knowledge with cloud technologies (Azure, GCP), networking, virtualization, • Experience with M365 administration, • SQL Databases, including high availability groups and clustering, • Azure, Microsoft 365, Cisco certifications is a plus, • Microsoft Entra and Active Directory technologies, • Knowledge of unified communications and Cisco Cloud Calling The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by people assigned to this job.
