We’re looking for a CDL Class A Delivery Truck Driver to join our growing team in Tonawanda, NY. This role is ideal for a safety-minded professional who enjoys local and regional driving, values customer relationships, and is comfortable with frequent cross-border travel to Canada. What You’ll Do As a CDL Driver at Haun Welding Supply, you’ll safely deliver products while providing professional, reliable customer service. You’ll: • Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle on local and regional routes, including frequent travel to Canada, • Deliver, load, unload, and secure gas cylinders and welding supplies in compliance with DOT and hazmat standards, • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and complete required delivery and border-crossing documentation, • Communicate effectively with dispatch, branch staff, and customers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries, • Maintain the truck, trailer, and equipment in a clean, safe, and professional condition, • CDL Class A license in good standing with a current DOT Medical Card (preferred), • Hazmat (H) endorsement, or the ability to obtain one (required), • Ability to legally and professionally cross the U.S./Canada border (valid passport or enhanced documentation required), • Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and regulatory compliance, • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment, • Commitment to uphold Haun values: Helpful, Humble, Heart-driven, and Honesty Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver gas cylinders and materials using proper equipment and safety procedures, • Ability to load and unload deliveries, climb in and out of the truck, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift, • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods, • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, • Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and meet all DOT physical requirements Haun Welding Supply & Specialty Gases is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
