Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance MechanicJob Description We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support production operations on the 3rd shift. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime. Initial hands-on training will be conducted over 3–4 weeks on the 1st shift before transitioning permanently to the 3rd shift. Responsibilities • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment., • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems., • Maintain mixers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and related equipment., • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime., • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, including sensors, switches, motors, and starters., • Support production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as needed., • Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately., • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and adhere to company policies., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment., • Communicate equipment issues and repair status with supervisors and team members., • Assist with continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.Essential Skills, • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment., • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills., • Basic electrical knowledge; PLC or VFD experience is a plus., • Experience working with industrial machinery and production equipment., • Ability to read basic schematics, manuals, and technical documentation., • Self-motivated and able to work independently during overnight hours., • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Bilingual skills in Creole, Spanish, or English are highly preferred., • Must have toe protection.
