Overview: As the Retail Director for our luxury retail operations in the US, this role is pivotal for optimizing store performance and operations. Responsibilities include driving sales excellence, fostering an innovative store culture, leading recruitment, contributing to strategic planning, overseeing client relationships, and managing financial performance. Key Responsibilities: • Propel store performance and ensure commitment to brand excellence., • Stay attuned to market trends, sharing strategic insights with store teams., • Cultivate an engaged and innovative store culture, promoting continuous improvement., • Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring a unified and motivated team across the region., • Collaborate on budgeting and strategic development to exceed targets., • Play a pivotal role in the buying process, contributing insights for a competitive retail offering., • Develop action plans for client retention and growth, ensuring a personalized luxury experience., • Collaborate on CRM initiatives, ensuring guideline adherence and metric achievement., • Effectively manage Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, aligning strategies with initial retail budgeting targets., • Implement cost-effective measures and revenue-generating initiatives to achieve financial goals., • Collaborate with teams to enhance product presentation and optimize sell-through., • Oversee all aspects of store operations, from openings to inventory management., • Collaborate with the Global Director of Retail on budgeting and strategic development., • Monitor Business and Client KPIs, creating action plans for growth., • Coach management teams to ensure alignment with company goals., • Develop action plans for new client clusters and maintain strong client retention., • Collaborate with Store Managers on CRM initiatives, ensuring guideline adherence and metric achievement. Qualifications: • 6+ years of relevant experience managing US-based stores in the retail market., • Proven track record of launching new store openings for RTW/Runway brands., • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills., • Experience in results-oriented, high-growth environments with agile and scrappy capabilities., • Knowledge of KPIs, P&L management, and operational aspects such as buying., • Role must be in NY, NY. Salary is determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant considerations that align with industry standards and internal policies.
