Job DescriptionJob Title: Foreman Job Description The role involves bending EMT using a hand bender, table bender, and bending conduit of 1/2 to 3/4 inch. You will be responsible for executing 90-degree bends, offsets, and saddles. The job requires building conduit rack systems, pulling wire through conduit systems, and working on exposed conduit and racking systems. You will also handle wiring, lighting control systems, and need to have knowledge of NEC code, MC & BX rough-in, three-way switches, outlets, and fire alarms. Additionally, you will be installing, wiring, and finishing branch circuits and distributions. Responsibilities • Bend EMT using hand benders and table benders., • Build conduit rack systems and pull wire through conduit systems., • Work with exposed conduit and racking systems., • Handle wiring and lighting control systems., • Apply NEC code knowledge for various tasks., • Perform MC & BX rough-in tasks., • Install, wire, and finish branch circuits and distributions., • Lead a crew of 10-12 members effectively., • Create material lists and lay out work for the crew., • Communicate with general foremen regarding daily tasks., • Troubleshoot and correct any work-related issues.Essential Skills, • Extensive knowledge of NEC code., • Proficiency in conduit bending and wiring., • Ability to troubleshoot and correct electrical work., • Experience with lighting control systems and Lutron systems., • Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints., • Experience in 120-480 Volt electrical work.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Must possess a physical and active SST 10-hour card., • At least 8 years of experience as a full mechanic with the ability to read prints independently., • Must have own PPE and hand tools, including hand tools, cordless drill, metros, electrical testers, and laser level.Why Work Here? Start times vary between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, with a half-hour unpaid lunch and a 15-minute coffee break. The workday is 8 hours long.
