Job DescriptionBenefits: • Bonus based on performance, • Opportunity for advancement Responsibilities • Follow all safety rules and regulations, • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including using zip walls, brown paper, drop cloths, masonite, etc., • Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed, • Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals, • Examples of projects you may encounter are:, • Remove interior walls, including wall base and molding, • Remove doors including frames & hardware, • Install doors, frames, and hardware in new location, • Frame walls with new studs and sheetrock, including taping and compound, • Replace door hinges, handles and locksets, • Patching and painting, • Spray paint trim pieces, • Install bathroom accessories, such as towel bars, mirrors and medicine cabinets, • Install shelving, • Mount TV brackets and assemble fixtures, • Install kitchen cabinets, • Install windowsills, • Add insulation and seal openings, • Patch flooring, match existing floor finish and installation orientation, • Install moldings and trimQualifications, • Previous experience as a Carpenter is required, • Ability to read plans and sketches and take accurate measurements, • Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools, • Knowledge of building regulations and codes, • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
