Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented and member-focused individual to join our team as a Member Assistance Administrative Processor. In this role, you'll support the processing of levy and garnishment documents, ensure quality control across department functions, and provide administrative support to help our team meet its goals. You'll work closely with members, both in-person and over the phone, offering accurate and timely follow-up. This position requires professionalism, a courteous attitude, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. This position is located at our Abbott Headquarters (1941 Abbott. Rd.) Pay Rate: $20.40 - $28.75 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Actively monitors the department phone queue and various email inboxes. Distributes appropriately., • Processes levies and court writs presented to the credit union timely., • Processes collection letters in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, Right to Cure Demand, No-Insurance Demands, Status of Account Letters, Demand for Payment letters etc., • Posts all checks received from the Bankruptcy trustees, loan payoffs and other sources to member loans., • Researches and balances applicable general ledgers accounts daily., • Posts all charges from department invoices to applicable member accounts., • Processes end of day checks and reports for department., • Assists in updating account information as requested, including but not limited to, address, name changes, telephone number changes, etc., in a timely and accurate manner., • Document SWBC incoming daily report, transfer payments timely as requested., • Maintains the Member Assistance Rewrite Tracking Log., • Actively monitors and assists in clearing small dollar delinquencies associated with interest and fees. Reverse draft and bill pay fees prior to charge off and closes share accounts., • Assists in preparing member paperwork. This includes, but is not limited to, Fresh start Repayment Plans, Rewrite Packages, Extensions, Confession of Judgments, etc., • Prepares scanning for department., • Communicates all potential problems to the Member Assistance Senior Staff in a timely manner., • Meets the current standards as established for the department in the completion of all assigned duties., • Communicates well and provides evident teamwork with others in the same position to ensure all duties are completed timely and accurately every day., • Completes the max age report and letters monthly. This includes removing payment protection from loans when member’s exceed the age threshold for coverage., • Reviews monthly missing secured loan insurance information report and follows up with branch staff to obtain information needed., • Process M-Life exceptions monthly. This includes manually posting payment protection charges to loans that exceptioned., • Performs the Auto Advantage Audit report weekly., • Maintains and prepares all reports, correspondence, and any other paperwork required by the Member Assistance Senior Staff., • Complete requirements for Member Assistance Admin Processor II within 12 months of start date and Member Assistance Admin Processor III within 18 months of promotion to Member Assistance Admin Processor II., • High school graduate or equivalent., • Must have good attention to detail, communication and organizational skills., • A minimum of six (6) months working in a financial institution is required., • Must have good clerical, communication and organizational skills.
