Job Description As a member of the SOP, the Peer Outreach Worker must be a driven and creative individual. The Peer outreach worker is responsible for conducting street outreach, providing on the spot referrals, and supporting and providing resources to youth and young adults who are homeless, runaway, and/or at high risk of becoming homeless and in need of case management, immediate shelter, meals, employment, and medical and or mental health services. The ideal candidate must have been a young person who has had similar lived experiences around homelessness and/or housing insecurity as the young people being supported. This credible messenger approach will help ensure a strong connection and level of trust between the young adults and Peer Outreach Worker. Reports to: Program Director Locations: NYC/City Wide (Mobile Van) (Positions Based between Harlem & Brooklyn. Must be flexible with Travel) Hours: 35 hours/Week, Non-Exempt Salary: 43k-48 Annually Based on relevant experience Major Duties: • Provide targeted outreach to designated communities in the 5 Boros of NCY as requested, in no less than a team of two, to identify homeless, runaway and at-risk youth and young adults through street and site-based outreach., • Use engagement techniques to build a rapport with youth and young adults encountered., • Provide age-appropriate interaction with youth and young adults encountered and adhere to all agency guidelines and ethics regarding treatment of youth and services., • Screen for basic needs; provide resources, referrals to service agencies, shelter and drop-in centers., • Provide crisis intervention as needed. The Intensive Case Manager will be a strong advocate who can provide ongoing support to clients with the police, prosecutors, housing, shelters, schools, public assistance, and other service providers. The Maintenance Workeris responsible for performing the routine upkeep and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of office buildings, safe dwellings and/or apartments; incl. surrounding grounds. The Maintenance Worker is under the direct supervision of the Morivivi Program Manager. The Maintenance Worker is on call for building/apartment emergencies 24 hours a day. Emergency issues include but are not limited to problems with gas, heat, hot water, flooding and/or lock issues. Essential Functions: • Performing repair or general maintenance (Sweeping, mopping, waxing, garbage collection, etc.) work of VIPs office buildings, safe dwellings and/or apartments, and surrounding grounds., • Overseeing the regular boiler/furnace and gas heat operations, calling for service when necessary., • Repairing and treating structures such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, ceilings, and carpets., • Performing minor repairs and troubleshooting, incl. new installations and replacing locks and/or keys., • Monitoring exit signs and alarms on exit doors., • Plumbing repairs as needed, including repair of leaks., • Recommending repairs and necessity for outside contractors., • Performing building repairs, such as plastering, painting, stripping floors, etc., including repairing and replacing electric plugs and light fixtures., • Moving and assisting in the transportation of furniture and equipment., • Cleaning the front of buildings includes sweeping and spraying when needed., • Garbage collection and bringing garbage to the curbside on garbage removal days. We extend our education advocacy to our school-age clients in juvenile detention and adult jail facilities to ensure they receive appropriate services while incarcerated and to facilitate reentry to the community. Responsibilities • Develop and implement the overall construction management strategy, • Oversee the financial health of the project, including budget development, cost control strategies, and long-term financial planning., • Make critical decisions on resource allocation and financial risk management., • Direct the establishment of project scheduling frameworks and policies., • Lead high-level schedule reviews and make strategic decisions to maintain project timelines., • Shape the project's risk management approach and culture., • Guide senior management on risk-related decision-making and opportunity exploitation., • Serve as the primary executive liaison for Construction Management with government agencies, senior contractors, and internal leadership., • Present project status and performance to board members, government officials, and other high-level stakeholders., • Ensure the project's adherence to federal and state regulations at a strategic level., • Build and lead a high-performing construction management team., • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Program Controls and Construction Management for large-scale infrastructure projects., • Proven track record in managing controls for multi-billion dollar programs., • Experience in stakeholder management, including coordination with transit agencies (such as Amtrak, NJ TRANSIT, PANYNJ) and local/state/federal authorities., • In-depth knowledge of FTA and FRA guidelines, procedures, and reporting requirements., • PMP certification required; additional relevant certifications (e.g., PMI-SP, EVP) highly desirable., • Demonstrated expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies for complex, multi-year projects., • Experience in alternative delivery models including design-build, public-private partnership (P3), and other collaborative contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC)., • Proven ability to manage and coordinate with multiple prime contractors and subcontractors., • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and navigate complex political landscapes., • Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and their integration into large-scale infrastructure projects. Who We’re Hiring: As the Fleet Manager for New York, you will be a core member of the Ride Health Fleet Management team. Through successfully managing relationships with our partnered non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) providers—including the drivers and vehicles within their fleets dedicated to our clients’ programs—you will have an immediate impact on the availability of healthcare services for older adults and people with disabilities. As you collaborate with key stakeholders to meet client and internal requirements, policies, and procedures, you will be providing these vulnerable populations with the freedom and convenience of reliable, safe transportation. Success in this position will require exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving. Responsibilities: • Field responsibilities include transportation provider relationship management, training, and quality assurance monitoring; client relationship management at client offices and program locations; and onsite emergency incident presence., • Manage in the field to personally respond to any incidents and interact with drivers and vehicles. This is a hybrid position that will require in-office presence when interfacing with clients., • Maintain departmental compliance with company policies, recordkeeping, and procedures.
