Job Description Our client, a distinguished leader in the pet care sector, is looking for a seasoned Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist with pesticide expertise. In this role, you will serve as the key regulatory expert for pesticide products throughout North America, ensuring regulatory excellence while facilitating product innovation in the pet care market. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Advisory: • Deliver specialized consultation to R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Executive teams regarding pesticide regulatory requirements, • Participate in docket evaluation committees to assess public information related to pesticides, • Review and validate marketing materials and product labeling for regulatory compliance, • Direct the development and submission of complete regulatory packages, encompassing toxicological and regulatory elements, • Establish comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies, procedures, and criteria necessary for successful Agency clearances, • Oversee adverse event monitoring, categorization, and reporting to federal, state, and international regulatory bodies, • Research and address compliance challenges, inquiries, or concerns from internal departments, clients, and governmental authorities, • Maintain regulatory adherence for all pesticide formulations (topical treatments, collars, shampoos) throughout North America (United States, Canada, Mexico), • Administer federal and state product registrations, modifications, renewals, and labeling compliance under FIFRA guidelines, • Function as the principal contact with EPA and state regulatory authorities, • Pesticide Expertise: Demonstrated experience leading dossier development and new pesticide product registration (full ownership responsibility, not supportive roles), • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Entomology, or equivalent scientific discipline, • Technical Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, • Systems Proficiency: Operational experience with National Pesticide Information Retrieval System (NPIRS) and Pesticide Product and Label System (PPLS), • Experience: 5+ years minimum in Regulatory Compliance/Affairs within EPA-regulated product industries, with specific FIFRA experience, • Communication: Outstanding written and oral communication abilities, capable of interpreting complex regulatory frameworks and counseling stakeholders, • Travel: Flexibility to travel approximately 5% for business requirements, • Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive understanding of U.S. federal and state pesticide registration standards, regulations, and procedures Health & Wellness: • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing mental health resources, • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, • Wellness initiatives and programs, • Hybrid work arrangements (fully remote options available for exceptional candidates), • Pet-friendly workplace environment (dogs and cats encouraged!), • Relaxed, inclusive organizational culture, • Pet insurance discounts, • Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA), • Paid parental leave benefits Pet bereavement leave, • Annual performance-based bonus eligibility, • Base Compensation: $135,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications), • Relocation sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for candidates moving independently Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Both Keller Executive Search and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.
