Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: OR - Operating Room, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 16 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 4x10hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: May 4, 2026, • Length: 16 weeks, • Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Atlanta, GA, • Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics, • Schedule is 2x10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday and Friday only — no alternate shift or schedule requests are permitted, • Weekend requirements are variable and will be discussed during the interview, • Call requirements are variable and will be discussed during the interview, • Floating is required within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed, • 16-week contractRequirements, • Active GA or Compact RN license required, • Minimum 4 years of OR experience prior to traveling is required, • Experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics is required, • All current certifications listed in the position description must be on file, • First-time travelers are not eligible for this positionAdditional Information, • Local candidates are accepted for this position, • Candidates who have previously worked at any Piedmont facility must have been away for a full year before returning as a traveler, • RTO maximum is 7 days for the duration of the contract; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment, • No holiday RTO will be approved during blackout dates (11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3), • Holiday availability policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers must be available to work all of them; if three major holidays occur, travelers must be available for at least two (one holiday RTO request may be reviewed for approval), • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day, • Candidates will undergo a clinical screening process to determine fit before being forwarded to the manager for final review With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
