If so, Pearce has a career for you! Our Generator Technicians service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region. This role is a great match for independent, self-starters who are willing to travel. Core Responsibilities: • Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems, and performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment, • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness, reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair, • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, and test for proper operation, • Be responsible for responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator alarms; have the ability to be on call 24/7 if necessary and respond promptly in answering assigned phone and email Core Experience: • Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred and a minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes, • Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills At Pearce safety is our number one concern.
