The facility will consider 36, 36/48, or 48 hours per week. Patient Population: The ED sees a high volume of patients, with a daily census of around 150. You will care for all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient Ratio: The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on all shifts (Days, Nights, and Weekends). Required Skills & Experience: • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an RN in an Emergency Department setting is required., • Charting: Experience with Epic is preferred., • Certifications: You must have the following certifications in hand at the time of submission:, • BLS (Basic Life Support), • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), • Floating: Floating to other EDs within the facility is required., • Orientation: You will have 12 hours of orientation. Please note that orientation hours are non-billable., • Holidays: You may be required to work on observed holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)., • Vaccines: COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required; medical or religious exemptions may be considered.
