Job Description The Mobile Maintenance Technician position will diagnose problems and perform identified repairs and routine preventive maintenance services on semi trucks under limited supervision through the use of their mobile service truck and tools. The mobile service truck, tools, and inventory must be maintained and kept in serviceable condition at all times as per company policy and procedures. HLA HIGH LEVERAGE ACTIVITIES (Focus actions that will return the highest impact): • Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic test, identifying worn and damaged parts focusing on safety, quality, and customer up time., • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units., • Embrace training opportunities maintaining certification in OEM products KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities • Perform club walk-through to ensure the condition of assigned clubs are upheld to ensure a positive member experience that represents the Crunch Fitness brand, • Maintain and update internal online work order program, recording and maintaining a schedule of historical repair needs for each club. All work orders to be updated on a daily basis, • Identify, repair and maintain fitness and spa equipment for proper use and safety according to Crunch guidelines, • Manage and control parts inventory per assigned clubs with accurate records of parts used or exchanged, • Manage daily/weekly reporting and follow expected weekly club visit schedule, • Train and support club team management to perform Level 1 facility and equipment repair, • Solicit bids and quotes from vendors and dispatch contractors to repair and maintain facilities, • Evaluate contractors work to ensure proper repairs were made after service calls, • Act as liaison to property management for facility repairs or upkeep requiring their attention, • Regular preventative maintenance of all fitness, spa equipment per manufacturer recurring schedule guidelines, • Track all preventative maintenance information within internal online work order program, • Hire, train, and develop preventative maintenance technicians, • 2 years minimum experience in building maintenance or retail maintenance required, • Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems required, • Ability to communicate effectively and use office equipment including a computer, • Must be 18 years of age or older, • Ability to bend, lift, and carry in excess of 100 lbs, • Continual standing and walking during shift High school diploma or GED preferred Compensation (Salary) $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience Benefits • PTO, • Subsidized health insurance coverage (health, dental, vision) for full time positions, • Basic Life and AD&D, • HSA, • Short-term disability Up to 100% travel required Travel Details Travel required to support geographical areas. Job Description The Service Technician conducts diesel equipment repairs and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments in the Service Department of a retail dealership environment. HLAs HIGH LEVERAGE ACTIVITIES (focus actions that will return the highest impact): · Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic test; identifying worn and damaged parts focusing on safety, quality and customer up time. · Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units. · Embrace training opportunities maintaining certification in OEM products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES: · Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment. Including trouble shooting, electrical and diagnostic services. · Read Repair Order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures. · Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components. · Overhaul gas or diesel engines. · Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs,differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts. · Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed. · Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications. · Advise the Service Supervisor if additional repair work is necessary · Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk. · Maintain a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools · Follow safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary. · Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins · Other duties assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: · High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. · Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. · Related technical school training preferred. · Three to five years of commercial truck technical service experience. · Engine certifications preferred: Cummins, Detroit, International, etc. · Necessary tools to perform job responsibilities · Ability to work and learn independently. · Strong written/ verbal communication skills required. · Ability to use various windows based computer software.
