A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT ENGINEER We have an opening for a collaborative, driven and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Engineer. He/she should possess a minimum of three years of commercial construction experience, Bluebeam Software experience, and understanding of all building trades, materials and methods with a special emphasis on Multi- Unit Residential and Commercial Projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Candidate will report to the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Regional VP. Perform the following tasks: Submittals: • Request from subcontractors, • Check for compliance and completeness., • Format and save on server., • Submit to design team., • Follow up for responses and report on status, • Write RFI's for field personnel and submit to design team., • Draft and issue PCOs. Follow up for responses and report on status, • Maintain PCO log, • Draft internal change orders for PC's to issue. Budget Variance: • Assist project managers in updating construction schedules., • Collect notes from field personnel to fill out the meeting minutes file, • Distribute meeting minutes to project team each week, • Assist field personnel in soliciting bids for remaining scopes. Community Support Facilitator The Community Support Facilitator supervises and coordinates the duties of Community Living Instructors who directly support adults with developmental disabilities to help them accomplish daily living activities at home and/or in the local community and also helps the individual to be a known and valued member of his/her local community. In addition, the FSW class is responsible to provide services to families. Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain this knowledges and ability would be: Previous experience in working with community groups on a paid or volunteer basis is highly desirable. Some selection preference may be given to current or past Head Start parents; AND • At least year (2) year experience in carrying a caseload in social service.
