About the Role We are seeking dedicated and certified Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEITs) to join our growing team. As a SEIT, you will provide individualized, one-on-one instruction and support to preschool children (ages 3–5) with disabilities in their homes, community settings, or general education classrooms through the CPSE (Committee on Preschool Special Education) program. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to preschool children based on their IEP (Individualized Education Program)., • Support children’s learning, social-emotional, and behavioral development in inclusive and/or home settings., • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related service providers to ensure consistency of strategies., • Document student progress and maintain compliance with NYC DOE and NYSED requirements., • Communicate regularly with families and supervisors to support children’s success. We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in ABA who works directly with clients (individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges) to implement behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves implementing behavior plans, collecting data on client progress, and supporting individuals with autism. Our BTs are dedicated and compassionate professionals who provide exceptional ABA services to a variety of clients. Role Responsibilities: Deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism. Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor progress. Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians. Respond promptly to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors. Maintain clear and effective communication with families, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders. Job Requirements: Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of prior experience working with children or in a related field.
