Job Description Overview Since 1972, Covenant House has served and advocated for youth and young families experiencing homelessness, human trafficking, and exploitation. Our overarching goal is to end homelessness among youth and young families by helping them achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, tap into their innate resilience, and hone their interests and skills to forge new pathways to independence. This work is carried out across Covenant House sites in 34 cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. About the Role The Coordinator, Planned Giving is responsible for leading administrative and operational support to the Planned Giving department. In this part-time role, you will report directly to the Vice President, Planned Giving. You will be a key player and contributor for the team with the opportunity to help streamline and organize planned giving-related systems and processes. This is a part-time position expected to work 21 hours per week. This position is not eligible for health benefits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Execute the process for managing donor responses generated from planned giving marketing efforts, including entry of data into the constituent relationship management system (CRM) and overseeing the mailing of materials to donors, • In collaboration with the Vice President, Planned Giving, administer the Gift Annuity and Trust programs by assisting in preparation and mailing of proposals and annuity documents, compiling internal memos, entering data to the CRM, and organizing hard and digital copies of annuity and trust documents, • Track and report the results from planned giving marketing efforts, • Prepare and execute small-scale mailings for identified donor segments., • Enter data regarding planned giving donors into the constituent relationship management system and review the data to ensure data it is accurately incorporated in the CRM, • Regularly prepare reports from the CRM, • Team player with the ability to work with multiple deadlines, sensitive information and all levels of management, • Exceptionally detail-oriented, • Ability to work independently, • Knowledge of principles and practices of project management, • Demonstrated competence and familiarity with standard software for business environments like Google Suite and Microsoft 365, • Demonstrated competence and familiarity with computer programs that support fundraising, including CRMs and project management software, • Basic Planned Giving knowledge a plus, • Hybrid – Majority remote with the expectation of required on-site work in Manhattan to 2 - 3 days per month as needed, • We offer flexibility to assign your own weekly hours within our standard work week and core business hours, • Our standard work week is Monday-Friday, and our core business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST Our critical mission demands that we have all voices at the table.
