Job DescriptionLegal Billing Specialist (Temp-to-Perm) - Little Falls, NJ Location: Little Falls, NJ (Onsite, Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM) Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm Industry: Legal Services Compensation: $30-$35/hr Are you an experienced billing professional looking to join a respected law firm with a collaborative, fast-paced environment? Our client in Little Falls, NJ is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to support their billing operations with accuracy, professionalism, and strong attention to detail. This role begins on a temporary basis with the intention to convert to permanent hire for the right candidate. About the Role As the Legal Billing Specialist, you will play a key role in preparing and processing monthly prebills and invoices, partnering directly with attorneys, and ensuring all billing activity is completed accurately and on schedule. This is a highly interactive role ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, process, and finalize monthly client invoices and prebills., • Print, distribute, organize, and revise prebills with attorney feedback., • Edit prebills for adjustments, write-offs, transfers, and corrections., • Partner closely with attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies and missing entries., • Run A/R, unbilled time, and billing statistics reports., • Submit finalized invoices and respond to client invoice reprint requests., • Support payment collection efforts while maintaining compliance., • Analyze billing activity and assist with inquiries from attorneys or management., • Assist with special projects and administrative billing tasks as needed.Required Qualifications, • High School diploma required; some college preferred., • 2+ years of law firm experience., • 3-5 years of billing experience, ideally in legal or professional services., • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting directly with attorneys., • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines.Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour Search managed by: Marissa McMahon Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
