Job Description BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality., • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and inventory records., • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. This job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities. However, the role may also include other occasional tasks and assignments as needed, in line with the job's assigned factors and production needs. Receiving and Inventory Management • Receive and inspect incoming shipments or prepare items for shipment, verifying accuracy and checking for damage following SOP for assigned task., • Unload products from trucks and properly stage in designated areas which includes but is not limited to, organizing and storing products in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management., • Bag and arrange parts to put away., • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts. This includes initialing all paperwork (each page) to assist with delegation of workload and regular inventory counts., • Arrange items or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, and mathematical operations)., • Attach material identification tags/label information to containers., • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts., • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures and timelines., • Perform SAP transactions to record movements of inventory following work instructions., • Ensure that all orders are accurate, complete, and properly labeled for delivery., • Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to products., • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and maintain a smooth workflow., • Assist in training new employees in warehouse procedures and best practices., • Proactively contributes to zero harm in the workplace for all employees by complying with legal and corporate (EHS) Environmental Health & Safety requirements, safe work practices, and EHS policies and procedures consistently., • Report all hazards, near misses and incidents as soon as practicable and participate in identifying actions to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment., • Employees at every level are responsible for quality (GMP), Good Manufacturing Processes and regulatory performance in the department to ensure quality program compliance., • Lifting and Carrying: Warehouse Associates are often required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. This may include boxes, pallets, and other inventory items., • Standing and Walking: The role typically involves prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse. Associates may spend most of their shift on their feet, moving between different areas of the facility., • Bending and Reaching: Frequent bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level are necessary for tasks such as retrieving items from shelves, organizing stock, and conducting inventory checks., • Climbing: Depending on the layout of the warehouse, climbing may be required to access higher storage areas or equipment., • Repetitive Tasks: Warehouse Associates may engage in repetitive tasks, such as scanning items, sorting materials, and packing products, which can require sustained focus and physical endurance., • Temperature and Climate: The warehouse environment may be subject to varying temperatures, depending on the facility's heating and cooling systems. Associates should be prepared for cooler conditions in refrigerated areas or warmer conditions in non-climate-controlled spaces., • Hazard Awareness: Warehouse Associates must be vigilant about potential hazards, including moving equipment, slippery surfaces, and the proper handling of materials. Adherence to safety protocols is crucial to prevent accidents and injuries., • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Depending on the specific tasks and materials handled, the use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, safety vest and steel-toed boots may be required to ensure safety. Accredited High School Diploma or GED. WORK HOURS: • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday), • 2nd Shift: 2:55 PM – 11:25 PM (Monday – Friday), • Shift Length: Associates typically work full shifts, which may last 8 hours or more, requiring stamina to maintain productivity and attention to detail throughout the day., • Overtime may be necessary to ensure that production targets are achieved. Employees will be informed in advance of any required overtime.
