About the Role As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide top-tier rehabilitation care in an outpatient clinic, working closely with a diverse group of patients and contributing to their recovery and quality of life. This is a full-time, day shift position in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, • Administer various therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (ultrasound, heat/ice therapy, electrical stimulation), and patient education, • Educate patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes, • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet rehabilitation goals, • Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards, • Provide excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines Requirements Education & Licensure (Required): • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program, • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in New York at the time of hire Certifications: • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire Experience (Preferred): • Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, • 0-30 years of experience considered, • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions preferred Skills & Competencies: • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and team members, • Strong organizational and time-management skills, • Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance, • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving patients during treatment sessions, • English language proficiency required Work Details • Location: Cayuga, NY (Finger Lakes Region), • Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, • Remote Status: No Remote, • Shift: Day (flexible schedule with no overnight shifts), • Recruit From: Nationwide, • Relocation: Paid, • Sponsorship: Not Available, • Positions Available: 2 Compensation • Base Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 annually (based on experience), • Certification Pay: Additional compensation for relevant certifications or qualifications Benefits & Perks • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Generous paid time off and holidays, • Retirement plan with employer contribution, • Tuition assistance and continuing education support, • Employee wellness programs, • Supportive team culture emphasizing professional growth, • Continuous education opportunities, • Workshops and clinical mentorship Why This Opportunity Stands Out Natural Beauty & Outdoor Recreation: Close to the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes—perfect for hiking, boating, and year-round outdoor activities.
