The Driver is responsible for operating a mini-van and/or straight 16 foot Isuzu NRQ truck to transport food goods to mobile stations of distribution. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. Job Description Load and secure products to and from the Love Kitchen Facility. Safely operate the vehicle between the Love Kitchen Facility and destinations of distribution. Abide by safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing all safety checks, etc. Unload and deliver products at distribution sites, ensuring timely deliveries. Aid the Love Kitchen Team with setup, distributions, clean up, and tear-down of mobile sites. Communicate with the team regarding necessary adjustments of deliveries. Coordinate with the warehouse associate to prepare, load/unload and organize deliveries. Maintain a travel and cargo log. Pick up and drop off food goods to and from Love Kitchen. Perform inspection of vehicles to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use. Perform other tasks that may be required by the organization. Required Experience Valid US driver’s license. Minimum of 4 months of similar work experience. Clean driving record with no serious violations. Must speak and communicate well with others.
