Job Description We are seeking an Accounting & Logistics support Specialist to become an integral part of our team supporting the accounting and logistics departments. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update financial records, using accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases., • Input financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and receipts, into the appropriate systems, • Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards, • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies, • Prepare and process invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances, • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, • Filing documents, maintaining organized financial records, and assisting with audits, • Perform other office tasks, • Analyze and approve for payment warehouse and broker invoices for reconciliation to company inventory, • Process and approve shipping documents from origin ensuring all relevant requirements are met, • Follow up on delivery orders to destination terminals to ensure containers are picked up in a time Qualifications: • Previous experience in billing, administration or logistics, • Experience in data entry, • Basic knowledge of standard accounting procedures, • Ability to prioritize and multitask, • Attention to detail, • Able to manage and organize a large volume of information, • Analytical, detail oriented with strong computer and math skills required, • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, • 4-year degree or 2-year accounting degree and post college work experience with similar skills preferred, but not required, • Spanish, or Portuguese language would be considered a plus, • Work conducted in person at White Plains office Company DescriptionParagon’s success depends on customer satisfaction.
