Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN System Float Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Telemetry, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 01/05/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Telemetry / Med-Surg Float Pool Location: Chandler & Mercy Gilbert Campuses (9 miles apart) EMR: Cerner Unit Notes: Auto-Offer off Prescreen | Must pass dysrhythmia exam & SIM lab Position Overview Travel RN needed to float between Telemetry and Med-Surg units across both campuses. Must be able to titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs. Floating includes Tele, Neuro Tele, MedSurg units, Observation, holding areas (Cath Lab, ER, hallway), and potentially ICU depending on skill level. Compliance & Testing Requirements • Dysrhythmia Exam: Must pass prior to signing contract (max 2 attempts; due within 48 hrs of offer). Failure = immediate DNU for 6 months at CSH AZ & Sac., • SIM Lab (Day 1): Pass/fail. Failure = immediate DNU for 6 months., • Ages Seen: 15+ years old.Floating Expectations, • Float between all Tele and Med-Surg units., • May float to ICU depending on skill level (generally lower acuity assignments)., • Floating between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses; notification 1.5 hours prior to shift., • Must clock out when leaving one campus and clock in upon arrival at the other. 1. Tele Neuro – A3 Neuro, • Beds: 28, • Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, • Ratios: 1:3–4, • Support: Charge nurse + Clinical Supervisor; 1 PCT per 16 pts, • Tele: Centralized; RN must interpret EKGs, • Vents: No, • Shifts: 12 hr (7–7), • Orientation: 2 floor days, • Common Patients: Neuro post-surgical, craniotomy, spine, CVA post-tPA, • Notes: No ICP monitoring, • Scrubs: Navy3. Med-Surg C5 (Ortho/Surgical/Oncology), • Beds: 32, • Certs: BLS, ACLS, • Ratios: 1:4 (days & nights), • Support: Charge RN (no patients) + Unit Supervisor, • Aides: Days—PCTs; Nights—1 PCT or Task RN, • Vents: No, • Shifts: 12 hr (7–7), • Orientation: 2 shifts, • Common Patients:, • 80% surgical, 20% oncology, • Ortho (knee/hip program), urology, abdominal surgeries, Whipple, women’s surgical (no OB/GYN), • Tele: GE monitors; central monitor tech, • Scrubs: Navy, • Float: B2C & B2D, • Additional: Spectralink phones4.
