Job DescriptionJob Title: Material Handler Job Description The Material Handler ensures the accuracy, security, and accountability of inventory through precise documentation, timely system updates, and strict adherence to operational procedures. This role supports efficient warehouse and production operations by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and inventory integrity. Responsibilities • Ensure inventory integrity by accurately documenting all transactions, updating inventory systems, and verifying processes., • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies in designated locations., • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards., • Conduct physical inventory counts and assist with regular cycle counting activities., • Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments to inventory records., • Audit inbound and outbound shipments to confirm accuracy, completeness, and quality compliance., • Maintain accurate and timely records of all inventory transactions for data entry and reporting purposes., • Support inventory replenishment strategies to help maintain optimal stock levels., • Safely transport and deliver materials within the facility using appropriate material handling equipment., • Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and operational protocols at all times., • Collaborate with team members and other departments to support efficient material flow and on-time production., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in warehouse and production support spaces.Essential Skills, • At least one year of recent material handling experience., • Experience with material handling tasks such as inventory management, picking, packing, and general warehouse labor., • Ability to use an RF scanner to ensure items are processed efficiently and correctly., • Basic understanding of inventory control processes and systems., • Ability to read and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required (up to the specified weight limit set by the facility)., • Ability to operate, or strong willingness to learn, material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts., • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma or GED., • 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling environments preferred., • Experience working in production or general labor roles is beneficial., • Comfort working with inventory systems and RF scanning technology., • Reliability and punctuality in a shift-based environment., • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a medical device production facility that combines clean room manufacturing areas with warehouse operations. The environment is air conditioned, providing a comfortable setting for both production support and warehouse activities. Work involves handling materials in a clean, organized, and safety-focused facility, using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (where trained), and RF scanners. The schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off and 3 days on / 4 days off, supporting work-life balance while maintaining consistent operational coverage. Employees are expected to follow all clean room, safety, and operational protocols, including any site-specific guidelines related to attire and personal protective equipment appropriate for clean room and warehouse areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
