The Receptionist will operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls; directs callers to appropriate personnel; completes a variety of administrative duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Receives and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons, and customers to appropriate locations and parties., • Typically operates a single or multiple position telephone system. Maintains a visitors’ log and issues badges when necessary., • Notifies appropriate personnel of visitor arrival., • May perform related clerical work such as word processing., • May use company intranet, paging, or other computer-based systems., • Additional duties may include filing, sorting, mail distribution and completing special projects., • Assists with company events, coordinating meeting, booking meeting rooms and teleconferences., • Provides clerical support to various departments as requested., • Performs other duties as required., • Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must have experience as a front lobby receptionist., • Must possess a professional presence, pleasant phone voice, and approachable personality., • Must have experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook with an aptitude/willingness to learn new systems., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Experience in administrative and clerical procedures, • General Computer experience and relevant software applications, • Experience in customer service principles and practices, • Strong keyboarding skills Criteria: Work Environment: • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions., • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., • Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers., • Ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods of time may be required.
