Job Description Bilingual Receptionist – Personal Injury Location: Portland, Oregon Firm: Bridge City Law Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person, M-F 8am – 5pm Experience Required: 1-2 years administrative or clerical experience Compensation: $21-23/hr. We’re looking for a full-time Bilingual Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate shares our commitment to providing thoughtful, compassionate support to every client while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. You’re detail-oriented, purpose-driven, and eager to learn and grow within a values-based law firm. Strong communication skills—in both English and Spanish—along with excellent organization and client service abilities are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests with a positive, helpful attitude and offer beverages as soon as they arrive at the office, • Notify the appropriate person when they have a guest, • Ensure the reception area, conference room, copy room, and kitchen are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times, • Prepare conference room for and clean up after events, • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, • Forward voicemail messages in our general mailbox to the appropriate people, • Sort, scan, and deliver incoming faxes, mail, and deliveries, • Take outgoing mail down to the mailbox daily, • Obtain intake information from prospective clients, • Track intakes, attorney no-rep letters, and referrals, • Bilingual Spanish, • Receptionist experience and familiarity with multi-line telephone systems, • Previous administrative or clerical experience (1-2 years), • Experience using computer systems., • Proficiency with case management system(s), • Proficiency with the full Microsoft suite, especially Word and Excel, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, • Commitment to client-centered service and firm values, • A firm culture rooted in respect, service, and purpose, • Clear pathways for professional development and advancement, • Meaningful work that impacts people’s lives, • Supportive and collaborative team environment Bridge City Law is an equal opportunity employer.
