Job Description Summary Bud's Goods of New Jersey is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our award-winning team. The primary role of this individual is to package and label dried flower as well as fill and package pre-rolls in accordance with pre-determined quotas and work orders. This role will also portion and package concentrates and oils per scheduled work orders. The Packaging Technician will be working with sophisticated packaging equipment and large volumes of packaged units. This will include set-up, operation, changeover, breakdown, and sanitation details of the equipment. The Packaging Technician reports to the Packaging Manager. This role can be full-time or part-time in the Linden, New Jersey. There will be shifts starting as early as 7:00am, and shifts ending as late as 8:00pm. The facility is open Monday through Friday. The individual for this role enjoys consistency. This role works with a team to align and accomplish daily packaging work orders. Safety is a priority for our team. The packaging labs have air filtration and personal protective equipment is provided. The facility will have an appointed safety committee and a quality assurance manager. We are seeking a Level 2 Field Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing high-quality IT support. You will work directly with clients on-site, managing installations, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support, while also collaborating with Bit By Bit’s broader technical team. This is a full-time, temporary position based in New York City, with field work required around the NYC Metro area. There's a strong possibility of this position being converted into permanent. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches., • Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of systems., • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions., • Use Bit By Bit’s ticketing system to track issues, time, schedules, and escalations., • Document processes and procedures in ITGlue., • Follow company protocols and standard operating procedures., • Collaborate with technical team members and communicate via Microsoft Teams and email., • Act as remote hands for Level 3 engineers as needed., • Manage new employee setup (PC, phone, mobile, cloud services)., • Troubleshoot Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices., • Support network and server infrastructure, Active Directory, O365, Google Apps, Exchange, DNS, and backup software., • Administer antivirus and spam filtering solutions., • Support VMware Vsphere ESXi virtual servers., • Liaise with ISPs, vendors, and OEMs to resolve issues and facilitate service. Additional Desirable Skills • Experience with Virtual Desktop Technologies (VMware, Citrix)., • Certifications or training in Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, or Cisco., • Firewall and switch administration knowledge., • Familiarity with VOIP, telephony, and cable management., • Ability to identify, diagnose, and remediate Ethernet/wiring issues., • Basic programming knowledge a plus. Qualifications • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills., • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability., • Ability to build relationships and deliver outstanding client service., • Minimum of 1 year experience with a Managed Services IT company preferred., • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, trade school education, or equivalent experience., • Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Serve as the primary point of contact for technicians and customers, addressing financial queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. * Independently handle simple problems while efficiently escalating complex issues to higher tiers or relevant departments for swift resolution. * Maintain detailed records by accurately documenting interactions, solutions, and financial transactions for future reference and analysis. * Strictly follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality handling of inquiries or problems related to all payments, ensuring the validity of authorizations, payable invoices, and verified completion of work. * Process payments meticulously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions. * Remit payments using electronic methods and phone calls, maintaining professionalism and persistence while resolving issues. * Handle technician and customer requests efficiently through various communication channels, including Slack and email, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions. * Respond promptly to inter and intra-departmental messages, resolving billing-related issues in a timely manner. * Conduct outbound calls and emails to customers and technicians to confirm claim completion and payment processing. * Collaborate with policyholders, potential customers, third-party institutions, and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors. * Handle complaints, provide solutions within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution. * Reconcile all payments with customers' accounts to ensure all outstanding balances are paid. * Input payment history, upcoming payment information, or other financial data into an individual account.. * Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.
