Role Overview As Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, driving operational excellence, and enabling smart, data-driven decisions. You'll manage monthly and year-end close processes, produce insightful financial reporting, and support cross-functional initiatives with accuracy and leadership. The position will be responsible for standard operating procedures relating to sales functions and processes, product management and special projects and promotions with an awareness of other departments’ roles within Nikon Inc. This role will be key to ensure that all SRO accounts and reps are provided up to date information regarding Nikon policies and procedures. This role will provide comparative analysis reports of current inventory in the field as well as nationwide sell-through trends and work directly with the Sr. Manager to effectively communicate these results to the accounts. As a part of this role, the Sales & Operations Specialist will research and evaluate current nationwide conditions that may affect the ability to sell products in the marketplace and make suggestions based on the analysis to the Sr Manager. The position will be responsible for assisting in achieving efficient product allocations, purchasing and the ordering of accessories for promotional and sales purposes. This role will coordinate information pertaining to shipments and logistics with the import export team and internal logistics team. Assist in budgeting and planning of nationwide sales promotions and their related exposures. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, trade show attendance, customer visits and social media account management.
