Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year A bit about us: Based in the Buffalo NY area, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a challenging role with a wide range of responsibilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and overseeing all on-site construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities from pre-construction to project closeout., 2. Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, ensuring that all phases are progressing on schedule and within budget., 3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop and implement project strategies and work plans., 4. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies and quality standards., 5. Lead on-site personnel and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction to ensure efficient and effective performance., 6. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise., 7. Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications: To be considered for the Senior Superintendent position, you must have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from start to finish., 2. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards, as well as relevant local, state, and federal regulations., 3. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to deliver their best work., 4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues., 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors., 6. Proficiency in construction management software and tools., 7. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
