Step 4: Board Approval ▪ The Board Development Working Group presents the candidate to the full board. ▪ The board votes to approve the appointment of the nonvoting parent member for a one-year term. Job Description Adoption Counselor (Part-Time) Schedule This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Adoptions team. Adoption Counselors are expected to sign up for and work a minimum of eight hours (can be one 8 hour shift or two 4-hour shifts) and maximum of 12 hours per week.
