Job Description Pricing Analytics Consultant (Contract) — $50–$60/hr LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Iselin, NJ. We’re seeking a sharp, resourceful Pricing Analytics Consultant for a contract-based individual contributor role. This is a hands-on opportunity ideal for someone analytical, proactive, and independent, with deep expertise in B2B pricing, PROS software, and Excel/Alteryx. Key Responsibilities • Develop dynamic pricing models and tools to support pricing decisions and margin optimization., • Conduct financial impact assessments for proposed pricing strategies., • Support PROS pricing software implementation, including configuration, testing, and price book generation., • Analyze complex datasets using Excel and Alteryx to deliver actionable insights., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Pricing, Sales, Finance, and IT to operationalize pricing tools., • Monitor pricing performance, identify leakage and margin opportunities, and recommend corrective actions., • Serve as a subject matter expert in pricing science, elasticity, cost-to-serve, and segmentation., • Drive tasks and projects independently with minimal oversight.Qualifications, • 4–6 years of pricing analytics experience in B2B industries (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, industrials)., • Hands-on experience with PROS pricing software—implementation, price logic, and price book generation., • Advanced Excel modeling skills and proficiency in Alteryx for data transformation and workflow automation., • Strong background in financial modeling and margin optimization., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent contractor environment., • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus., • Prior consulting experience is highly preferred.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
