We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join their esteemed legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a stable work history who is seeking a long-term position within a supportive and successful firm. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law and will play a crucial role in the initial stages of case development. Primary Responsibilities • Serve as a primary contact for new client intakes, conducting detailed interviews and gathering relevant medical and case information., • Review and summarize medical records, hospital charts, and physician reports., • Draft, file, and manage pleadings, including complaints, summonses, and motions., • Prepare and respond to discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions)., • Organize and maintain medical and legal documentation in both electronic and paper files., • Coordinate with medical experts, schedule independent medical examinations (IMEs), and track expert deadlines., • Conduct factual and legal research as needed to support case development., • Assist attorneys in deposition and trial preparation, including document production and exhibit organization., • Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Qualifications and Experience • A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience focused specifically on Medical Malpractice or Personal Injury cases is required., • A stable and consistent work history is highly valued.
