Job Description Job Title: Telehealth Physician (MD/DO) – Acute Care Employment Type: Contract / Part-Time (1099) Location: Remote Reports To: Director of Provider Operations About myLaurel myLaurel is revolutionizing care for frail, elderly, and complex patients by delivering acute care at home. Our signature programs: Rapid Advanced Care – On-demand in-home acute care Acute Care at Home – Acute care provided at home post-discharge Recovery at Home – Transitional care after hospitalization We combine telehealth physicians, in-home paramedics, and RN care managers to drastically reduce hospitalizations, readmissions, and healthcare costs—while improving lives. Position Overview We’re seeking Board-Certified Physicians to deliver acute care remotely via telehealth, in partnership with on-site paramedics. What You’ll Do ✔️ Conduct remote assessments and manage acute conditions ✔️ Collaborate with paramedics providing hands-on care ✔️ Create personalized treatment plans and prevent readmissions ✔️ Communicate with care teams to ensure continuity ✔️ Document encounters and use multiple EMRs On-Site Services You’ll Direct (via Paramedic) Hands-on Physical Exams Bedside Ultrasound IV Meds & Access Respiratory Support CLIA-Waived Blood Tests Viral/Bacterial Swabs Catheter, G-Tube & Central Line Care Shifts & Schedule Minimum Availability: 4 shifts/month (including 1 weekend shift/month) Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts between 9 AM – 9 PM Flexible Scheduling: 7 days/week Requirements Must-Have: MD or DO with Board Certification (EM, IM, FM) Comfortable with multiple EMRs Excellent communication & clinical decision-making Telehealth or home-based care experience 2 Years Experience Active license in NY, PA, or LA Prefer PA or LA Nice-to-Have: Direct experience working with EMS responders Background in value-based care Tech & Environment Expectations Quiet, professional, HIPAA-compliant setting Reliable internet + quality webcam & mic Good lighting + professional appearance Licensing Support We support multi-state licensing and will coordinate much of the process. You’ll need to respond promptly to licensing and credentialing requests (e.g., documentation, fingerprints, etc.). Compensation $75/hr, + $75 per visit after first 4 visits Why Join myLaurel?
