Maintenance Technician Job Description: PrideStaff is currently working with a local baked goods manufacturer to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position for their Sacramento facility. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems maintenance. The ideal Maintenance Technician has above-average attention to detail, advanced knowledge of baking equipment maintenance, and the ability to think and act quickly. The Maintenance Technician position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Sacramento, CA. Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: • Provide Expertise in Electrical, Pneumatic, & Mechanical Systems to Ensure High Efficiency in Plant Operations, • Trouble-shoot & Report Corrective Action, • Lockout/Tagout Procedure, • Ensure Health, Food Safety, & Quality Environmental Procedures Are Always Followed, • Rebuild Equipment and Machine Parts, • Modify Components of Machinery & Tools by Utilizing Outdated or Readily Available Parts & Customizing Them to Suit Specific Requirements, • Understand HACCP, GMP, OSHA & BRCS Maintenance Program Requirements, • Educate & Train Employees on Correct Use of Machines & Equipment, • Program & Install Control Systems, • Install & Update High Voltage Components Throughout The Plant, • Welding and minor fabrication, • Continue Learning About Baking Equipment & How to Repair It, • Other Tasks as Assigned by the Maintenance Manager Maintenance Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions: • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, • Advanced Knowledge of Baking Equipment Maintenance, Including Industrial Ovens, Dough Mixers, & Assembly Line Equipment, • Ability to Think & Act Quickly, • Skilled at Problem-Solving, Using Creativity, Logic & Critical Thinking to Meet the Desired Standard, • Clear Written & Verbal Communication Skills to Explain Policies & Procedures, • Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish preferred., • Possess a High Attention to Detail & The Ability to Multitask & Manage Time Efficiently, • Must be Able to Bend, Crouch, & Kneel for Extended Periods of Time, • Must Be Able to Lift 50 lbs Unassisted PrideStaff Hiring Requirements: • Must be 18+ Years Old, • Must be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check, • Must be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen Company DescriptionPrideStaff is a national staffing organization, delivering innovative solutions to the challenges employers face every day.
