Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital ProjectsAs Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture Infrastructure and Capital Projects LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Infrastructure and Capital Projects, LLC or Accenture Infrastructure and Capital Projects Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.THE WORK: • You’ll oversee all inspection and quality assurance activities during construction to ensure work meets project specifications, regulatory requirements, company standards, and safety policies., • You’ll serve as the primary field quality representative for the project., • You’ll work closely with construction management, engineering, environmental compliance teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure pipeline construction is completed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance., • You’ll supervise and coordinate inspection personnel, including:, • Welding Inspectors, • Coating Inspectors, • Civil/Grading Inspectors, • Environmental Inspectors, • Utility Inspectors, • Electrical/Instrumentation Inspectors (if applicable), • You’ll maintain adequate inspector coverage across all spreads and work fronts., • You’ll coordinate closely with the Chief Welding Inspector and Coating Inspector., • You’ll ensure all pipeline construction activities comply with:, • Project specifications, • Approved drawings and alignment sheets, • Environmental permits, • Regulatory requirements (PHMSA, FERC, state agencies), • Company standards and procedures, • You’ll monitor contractor quality control and testing activities., • You’ll verify materials meet project specifications., • You’ll ensure inspection and testing hold points are properly followed., • You’ll review and approve daily inspection reports., • You’ll track, manage, and close non-conformance reports (NCRs)., • You’ll verify corrective actions are completed and properly documented., • You’ll ensure accurate and complete documentation, including:, • Weld logs, • Coating logs, • Lowering-in documentation, • Backfill documentation, • Hydrostatic testing documentation, • As-built documentation, • Environmental inspection reports, • You’ll prepare and provide weekly and monthly inspection summary reports., • You’ll assist with final inspections and project turnover documentation., • You’ll attend and actively participate in:, • Daily construction meetings, • Contractor coordination meetings, • Safety meetings, • Progress meetings, • Pre-construction meetings, • You’ll promote, enforce, and model safety compliance and safe work practices across all construction activities., • You’ll oversee inspection activities related to:, • Clearing and grading, • Trenching, • Pipe stringing and bending, • Welding and NDT, • Coating and field joint coating, • Lowering in and padding, • Backfilling and tie-ins, • Hydrostatic testing, • Restoration, • You’ll oversee inspection for:, • Access roads, • Compressor stations, • Meter stations, • Valve sites, • Foundations and concrete, • Drainage and grading, • Structural installation, • You’ll oversee and verify compliance with:, • SWPPP and erosion control measures, • Wetland and waterbody crossings, • Restoration and revegetation requirements, • Environmental permit conditions, • Topsoil segregation, • Dust control, • Spill prevention measuresHERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:, • 10–15 years of pipeline construction inspection experience, • Previous experience as Chief Inspector or Lead Inspector, • Strong knowledge of pipeline construction methods, • Experience with welding, coating, civil, and environmental inspection, • Knowledge of pipeline regulations and industry standards BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:, • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, • Strong leadership and communication skills, • Experience managing inspection teams and contractors, • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inspection reporting software, • API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector, • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), • NACE Coating Inspector (Level 1 or 2), • OSHA 30, • First Aid / CPR, • DOT Operator Qualification (OQ), • Confined Space, • Trenching and Excavation Competent PersonCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
