About the Role: Octave is hiring Licensed Clinicians to work within an organizational structure to provide high quality behavioral health care to our clients. Octave Clinicians will join a diverse clinical team in providing therapy in a collaborative, client-centered, evolving environment. Octave Clinicians demonstrate strong clinical service thinking, informed by evidence-informed therapies. It is our effort to drive quality access and customize mental health treatment plans and service delivery for our clients. You will treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short-term, evidence-based therapies. Candidates must be licensed in New York at the masters or doctoral level, well-versed in evidence-based therapies, like CBT or DBT, and expert in the delivery of culturally responsive care. We are seeking out Licensed Clinicians who are willing to work both in-person and remotely. As a Clinician with Octave, you will be able to build out a caseload that gives your clients the option to see you virtually or in-person. It is ideal that you already have a commercial clinical space that you can operate from to see clients in person through Octave. At this time, we are not providing an office space within the state of New York. You are able to see virtual clients from your home office, but we do require that you see in-person clients from a commercial office setting. Position Summary: The BCBA is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing effective, individualized interventions for individuals with autism and behavior challenges. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder. As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. Full-time BCBAs are expected to dedicate their professional practice exclusively to Graham Behavior Services and may not provide ABA therapy through other agencies while employed full time. Job DescriptionDescription: GBS is looking for a BCBA in Port Reading, NJ for 1-2 hours per week with availability Tuesday/Thursday between 8am-3pm. Position Summary: The BCBA is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing effective, individualized interventions for individuals with autism and behavior challenges. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder. As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. Full-time BCBAs are expected to dedicate their professional practice exclusively to Graham Behavior Services and may not provide ABA therapy through other agencies while employed full time. Season Dates: June 29 – August 7 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm Pay Range: $22 to $23 per hour Essential Job Functions: • Provide direct supervision and individualized support to an assigned camper to ensure safe participation in all camp activities., • Support the planning and implementation of inclusive, age-appropriate camp activities and adapt programming as needed to meet the camper’s developmental needs., • Collaborate with counselors, site leaders, and the Director of Mental Health Services to identify barriers to participation and implement support strategies., • Maintain a safe and positive camp environment by following RBAYMCA policies, procedures, and positive behavior support practices., • Supervise campers during all scheduled activities, including swim time, locker room use, and transitions., • Ensure proper use and care of camp equipment, supplies, and RBAYMCA property., • Report first aid incidents, behavioral concerns, or other significant issues to the Unit Leader or Site Coordinator and seek guidance from camp leadership as needed., • Paid Sick Leave, • Competitive pay, • Complimentary Y Membership (restrictions apply), • Must be 18 years of age or older., • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of college or more preferred., • Minimum one year of related experience working with youth, ideally with special needs, in school, daycare, or camp settings. Experience may include academics, mental/behavioral health, creative arts, camping, songs, skits, sports, aquatics, or recreational games., • Experience working with children with special needs is required., • Background in recreation, education, camping, or sports is favorable., • Strong patience, empathy, and communication skills (written and oral)., • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for campers., • Ability to follow camp policies, licensing guidelines, and safety protocols, including swimming and activity supervision., • CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain prior to the start of camp., • Physically able to participate in camp activities and supervise children throughout the day.
