New York 24/7 Field Host — Overnight Pickup Soccer
    hace 2 días
    $32–$40 por hora
    Jornada parcial
    Brooklyn, New York

Read carefully below, and then apply here The Footy League is running free, open-play pickup soccer at five parks across the city, every night for 39 days during the 2026 World Cup. We're hiring reliable Field Hosts to keep these sessions running smoothly overnight. This is a great fit for someone who loves soccer, likes being in the community, stays calm under pressure, and is interested in being a part of the Footy League's World Cup Summer operations! What you'll do: Open, set up, and run a field for your shift — set out goals, balls, and pinnies, and pack them away at the end. Welcome players and get pickup games organized (split teams, rotate 30-minute sessions, keep things moving and fair). Check players in. Keep order with a whistle and clear communication as needed. Follow our injury and incident protocol in the event someone gets hurt: know who to call, document what happened, and record video on your phone when needed. Report each night through our team chat using a simple incident form. Keep it fun out there! Shifts: NY 24/7 is a 39-day program; we'll build a recurring schedule and also need people who can pick up call-out coverage - tell us any/all nights you are available. Locations: Chelsea Waterside Park (Manhattan), Astoria Park (Queens), Sound View Park (Bronx), Calvert Vaux Park (Brooklyn), and Fairview Park (Staten Island). An NYPD officer will be on site at all fields at all times. What we're looking for: Must be available to work overnight hours, including the late 3 AM–7 AM block. Dependable and punctual — people are counting on you to show up. Comfortable organizing and communicating with groups, sometimes large and energetic crowds. Calm, level-headed, and safety-first. Soccer experience a plus but not required. Must be 18+. Final acceptance will require passage of a background check and attendance to a brief orientation training.
