Job DescriptionLicensed Therapist Job Details Job Type Full-time Cedar Rapids, IADescription Position Summary The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapies to children, adolescents or adults depending on program support population using evidence-based practices in addiction-substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis and other areas as required by program. Perform initial assessment, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs. Essential Duties and Functions Therapy • Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment, • Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment., • Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals., • Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines., • 30% Travel required for IA-ACT Requirements Qualifications • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field., • State license is required (LPC, LCSW, LISW) as specified in the addendum based on program licensing/funder requirements., • Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs., • ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program, • FBI clearance, as needed, • Stand or Sit (stationary position), • Walk, • Use hands or fingers to handle or feel (operate, activate, prepare, inspect, position), • Climb (stairs/ladders), • Talk/Hear (communicate, converse, convey, express/exchange information), • See (detect, identify, recognize, inspect, assess), • Pushing or Pulling, • Repetitive Motion, • Reaching (high or low), • Kneel, Stoop, Crouch or Crawl (position self, move) Light: exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and/or leg control requires force greater than sedentary, but worker still sits majority of time. Apis Services, Inc.
