Job Description Job Summary:The role is responsible for providing on-site and remote support for Client printing and imaging devices. Acting as the primary point of contact for end users, the technician manages device support, break-fix activities, Move/Add/Change (MAC) requests, consumables, and basic network configurations. This position is customer-facing and focuses on service delivery, troubleshooting, device configuration, and maintaining accurate service records while ensuring service level agreements (SOWs) are met. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service, • Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes, • Provide ongoing end-user training on equipment, • Perform basic device cleaning and replacement of operator-accessible parts and consumables, • Perform break-fix activities (approximately 70% of role responsibilities), • Provide IP address support and basic equipment problem diagnosis, • Act as point of contact for equipment delivery and removal for onsite support, • Contact Client and third-party service providers as required, • Utilize Client web-based applications including Service Call Handling systems, • Ensure accurate service call reporting in Client-designated systems, • Provide onsite support for remote service calls and remote solve resolutions, • Download and install printer drivers on end-user equipment, • Perform printer mapping to PCs as required, • Escalate printer network issues to appropriate resources, • Manage physical and remote device monitoring and control, • Configure devices including IP addresses, scan templates, user access levels, and scan-to-file/email functions, • Monitor and apply current software updates and patches, • Support non-Client device management as required, • Perform remote device monitoring and remote solve using Client Device Management tools, • Identify and promote Client Office Solutions, • Proactively manage consumables and supplies using the DOS calculator, • Maintain onsite operator-replaceable parts inventory, • Collect and submit equipment meter readings for billing purposes, • Perform data entry for activity tracking and asset management, • Manage and maintain onsite parts inventory using PM4, • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, • Ability to read, write, and follow basic English instructions, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, • Ability to work with minimal supervision, • Basic equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, • Ability to resolve customer issues including proper escalation, • Ability to coordinate work tasks to fulfill Statements of Work (SOWs), • Ability to track and report account information accurately Education: High School Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
